Watch Genesis One, a journey back in time that will explore the Creator’s handiwork recorded in each of the 31 verses of Genesis Chapter One.
The Hebrew word for evening is “ereb”, which means “chaotic or disorderly.” The Hebrew word for morning is “boqer” meaning “orderly.” On Day One, God created light from darkness and brought order to the chaos. On the second day, He continued His work and brought about more order. This continued through Day Six until creation was complete and therefore the “ereb” (disorder) of creation was brought into order "boqer" (order).
